Parks and Beaches

Year-round fun for the whole family

Tupper Lake's pretty beaches and sprawling parks make it easy for families to enjoy the great outdoors, all year long. Discover the fun of exploring a waterfront playground, cycling bike paths, and splashing all day long at a sunny beach.

In summer, Waterfront Park is home to the Summer Sunset Concert Series, is a great place for a bike ride, fishing, and enjoying the Little Loggers Playground, while Little Wolf Beach is a secluded spot perfect for swimming and family picnics.

The snows of winter offer ice fishing, sledding, room for snowball fights, and learning to cross-country ski. Special events throughout winter offer extra fun, too!

Family Fun

Your family adventure awaits!

The Tupper Lake area offers activities and attractions for all ages. Whether your family has curious minds or adventurous legs, Tupper Lake has your next family vacation covered.

  • Connect with the wild world at The Wild Center and Wild Walk! In winter, Wild Walk becomes a magical snowy perch, offering serene views of the Adirondacks draped in white. After dark, The Wild Center transforms with Wild Lights, a dazzling display of lights that illuminates the campus, including Wild Walk, with sparkling winter magic.
  • Grab your cross-country skis and glide through the James C. Frenette Sr. Recreational Trails—peaceful, well-groomed, and perfect for a fresh-air adventure right outside your door.
  • Bundle up and hit the trails to complete the Tupper Triad, Coney Mountain, Mt. Arab, and Goodman Mountain, and don’t forget to register for your family’s patches! Pack a thermos of cocoa and soak in the snowy vistas along the way.
