Stargazing in Tupper Lake

The deep, dark skies of the Adirondacks have drawn stargazers for decades. With no large cities around, there is very little light pollution. And thanks to the efforts of some local residents, Tupper Lake takes it even further. The town has spent the better part of the last two decades working to keep the skies dark so that the stars are more visible.
