Hike safely during mud season
Spring in the Adirondacks gets messy, but being safe doesn't mean you can't get dirty! When it comes to spring hikes, think low, as in low elevation. Higher summits may still be snowy and/or icy, so keeping your hikes low means more fun for you, and a safer adventure. Don't forget your layers, too! It's best to be prepared changes in temperature and precipitation.
