Tupper Lake is the home to two unique and inspiring natural science centers: The Wild Center and The Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory. These state-of-the-art attractions will have you interacting with the Adirondacks in a whole new way as you learn about the world around — and above — you.

When you're not playing in the great outdoors of Tupper Lake, you'll find some enticing attractions indoors! The Wild Center's indoor exhibits offer thrilling education with Adirondack flair, the otters are always looking for more visitors. Looking for unique handcrafted gifts, or a chair completely crafted out of cross-country skis? Tupper Arts is a delightful art expo right in the center of town! And if you're ready to show off your bowling skills, head over to Lakeview Lanes and spend the day perfecting your strike. Find endless fun both outdoors and indoors when you come to Tupper Lake!

The Tupper Lake area offers activities and attractions for all ages. Whether your family has curious minds or adventurous legs, Tupper Lake has your next family vacation covered. 

  • Connect with the wild world at The Wild Center and Wild Walk! In winter, a coating of snow makes the trees extra pretty and wintering birds are busy in the trees.
  • Grab your skis and hit the trails all around town. Fun is just outside your door!
  • Hit the trails and complete the Tupper Triad — Coney Mountain, Mt. Arab, and Goodman Mountain — then register your family for their patches! Pack a picnic lunch and spend a little extra time enjoying all of the splendid scenic vistas along the way.
