Pub crawling Tupper Lake

See all those adorable pubs and bars around town, and not sure where to start? We heard you! Tupper Lake is perfect for a weekend pub crawl, with establishments of every type. You’ll find speak-easy adjacent restaurants, sunny outdoor wine bars, cozy Irish pubs, and breweries serving up IPAs and food truck eats. Take a peek at what’s on tap.

Trail's End Tavern

Trail’s End Tavern welcomes travelers coming from the south to their first glimpses of Tupper Lake. Tucked right on the water, the dive bar is the perfect pit stop in your journey through town, or the start of your very own crawl. The vibes are welcoming, touted as a classic biker bar from patrons past. Take a pic with the mural out front, then head on in for some pints with your buds. The best part? There’s plenty of parking for plenty of bikers.

Just a quick walk down the road, Lakeview Lanes is a hub for all things fun in Tupper Lake. With bowling lanes, a fully stocked arcade, and pub food to snack on, you won’t be leaving anytime soon. The Foul Line Sports Bar within holds a convivial bar to go over your bowling strategy with your team, or reward yourself after a successful foosball tournament. Pro tip: Lakeview Lanes is perfect for the whole family, especially on rainy days!

The Woodshed on Park

If you’re looking for craft-everything, we’d like to direct you to The Woodshed on Park, your new favorite vintage joint. With a moody and dark-academia inspired atmosphere, you’ll be transported right back to the 1920s, in both the decor and the drink specialties! Their custom artisan cocktails will have you dreaming about your next visit. Try their cocktails, like The Bee’s Knees, Pink Pony Club, and Naked and Famous.

P-2's Irish Pub

Add some live music to your night at P-2’s Irish Pub. Known for having the “best Irish food in the Adirondacks,” you’ll be well taken care of, munching on classics like the Irish Pub House Beer Battered Fries and the fish and chips, while sipping away on some Guiness of course. Or…other drinks if that’s what you prefer. Their bandshell outside is always hosting live music, making for a perfect night to sit on the green and sing your heart out with friends.

The Clubhouse at Tupper Lake Golf Club

We’re talking about more than just the 19th hole—The Clubhouse at Tupper Lake Golf Club is a legit Adirondack destination in its own right, perfect for when you need a spot to refuel and relax. It's not just for golfers; this is a full-service restaurant and bar where everyone can get cozy in a laid-back, mountain-casual atmosphere. Snag a seat, grab an icy local craft beer or signature cocktail, and settle in with one of their awesome appetizers, hearty sandwiches, or a full entrée, all while soaking in the killer, wide-open views of the greens and surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect, publicly-accessible local haunt to finish your day, whether you spent it driving fairways or hitting the hiking trails.

Amado Outdoor Wine Bar

Amado may be one of the most unique spots on your pub crawl. Their outdoor dining includes an immaculate courtyard, with private greenhouses providing you with your own private area complete with music and a/c. Steps away, their heated outdoor wine bar offers the best of both worlds, with outdoor seating, a fully stocked bar, and an overhang so you can keep dry on rainy days. An all-around win!

Raquette River Brewing

As Tupper Lake’s resident brewery, it's a no-brainer to include Raquette River Brewing in your pub crawl. Their long bar is perfect for catching up, or try any of the tables around the tasting room to set up camp with your party. The grand fireplace at the end of the room is perfect for those cold rainy days (or snow, we know it's coming). Their drinks are sure to impress, with their Maple Cream Porter, Big Joe's Hot Pepper Pale Ale, or their Mango Wheat Ale. If you get hungry, just steps outside is their Food Truck Alley, fitted with wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and more. Essentially everything you need for the perfect group outing.

The Woodsmen's Tavern

When it starts to get late, you can head over to the Woodsmen’s Tavern & Grill. Their laid-back atmosphere will have you tucking in, or gearing up for a round of darts and pool. The bar is a local mainstay, so you’ll meet plenty of regulars as the night progresses.
