After a very busy and event packed summer, the Tupper Arts Center has planned a variety of events throughout our fall season.
A new addition to Tupper Arts schedule this fall is monthly Fridays at the Grotto, an evening for teens in our newly renovated basement of the Tupper Arts Center! Karaoke and open mic are planned with free admission and snacks and soft drinks being sold. These evenings are scheduled for Nov. 8 and Dec. 6 from 7-9 pm.
Wilson Bickford, star of the PBS series Painting With Wilson Bickford, returns to Tupper Arts Center on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 1-5 p.m. for his next class, “Adirondack Summit.”
Yoga with Johanna MacDougall continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Tupper Lake Bandshell, weather permitting, otherwise it's at the art center.
Watercolor painting with Newt Greiner will resume on Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. beginning on Nov. 14. All supplies are provided.
Pam Belleville has begun teaching fused glass workshops for adults and children. Check our website for more information.
On Friday, November 8, our Fiber Arts Show begins with an artist’s’ reception open to the public from 4-6 p.m. Be sure to drop by to review this beautiful display anytime between Nov. 8 to Dec. 21.
The Dance Sanctuary continues their very popular children’s dance classes and provides a Dance/Wellness: Cardio Class for adults on Tuesdays from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. Check the website for dates.
David MacDougall, MA, LMT will be presenting a class on Wellness: Learn Somatics on Oct 5 from noon to 4 p.m. SomaticExercise helps reduce tension from stress and trauma and restore postural health and comfortable movement.
December will be busy with our children’s Christmas party with Santa on Dec. 7, our annual Snow Ball on Dec. 14, and the Messiah on Dec. 21.
