This winter, The Wild Center has been transformed into a beautiful scene straight out of a snowglobe! Wander into an enchanting, illuminated, winter wonderland to explore the sights and sounds of Wild Lights! Every Friday and Saturday evening, beginning December 10, bask in thousands of lights strewn throughout Wild Walk and Forest Music. Up, down, all around, trees, forest structures like the rustic Stickwork sculpture, and the Wild Walk itself sparkle with a rainbow of light.
In the Forest Music loop, a new winter soundtrack was created specifically for the trail, which loops through the serene forest. Wild Lights creates an immersive experience that is sure to become the newest holiday family tradition, one that will be distinctive and unique each year. Your eyes, and those of all little ones, will widen with delight and you'll feel the spirit of nature and the joy of the holiday season with friends and family gathered from near and far.
A visit to Wild Lights is also the perfect time to enjoy the family-oriented community of Tupper Lake. Connect and discover new adventures on easily accessible snowshoe hikes and cross-country ski adventures, or try your hand at cool ice fishing! Local motels make the perfectly cozy basecamp for a stay that's full of fun, comfort, and classic Adirondack hospitality. Speaking of hospitality, our local restaurants have menus for all tastes, kid-friendly meals, cool drinks, and hearty fare to keep you fueled up for all kinds of family fun.
In addition to weekends, Wild Lights will be open every day during Holiday Week (12/26-1/1) and Presidents Week (2/18-2/26), for more opportunities for snowy, family-oriented adventure.
Wild Lights is presented by Merrill L. Thomas, Inc.
