Opening Reception: Universal Visions Astrophotography Exhibition

The Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory is proud to present Universal Visions, a stunning astrophotography exhibition debuting with a special opening reception on Thursday, August 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Astronomy Hub, located at 68 Park Street in Tupper Lake, NY.

This remarkable exhibition features high-resolution, large-format images of deep space—captured under the pristine dark skies of the Adirondacks by participants of the Sky Center’s annual Astrophotography Conference. This four-day immersive event draws both amateur and professional astrophotographers from across the country and provides exclusive nighttime access to the Roll-Off Roof Observatory, which is closed to the public during the conference to allow uninterrupted imaging.

Visitors to Universal Visions will experience awe-inspiring photographs of swirling galaxies, vibrant nebulae, and glittering star clusters—each one a testament to the skill and passion of its creator. This is the first time these images, all taken in Tupper Lake, will be publicly exhibited in large print. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to view the universe through the eyes of those who have spent nights under some of the darkest and clearest skies in the Northeast.
