July 9 program- Creature Feature Creativity: Animal Acrostic Poetry
Meet in the Naturalist Cabinet
Join us at The Wild Center to encounter one of our animal ambassadors and connect with your creativity. The Lost Words by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris brings to life words of the natural world that are being forgotten through acrostic poetry. Acrostic poems use the letters of a word or phrase to create lyrical writings. Participate in an activity inspired by this book by creating an acrostic poem or art piece about an animal at The Wild Center that speaks to you. *You do not need to have read the book to participate*
Program will take place in the Naturalist Cabinet, with the animal ambassador making an appearance at 4:15 pm.
