A Lake Placid tradition, the Holiday Village Stroll is a festive weekend perfect for families and couples, set in the winter wonderland of Lake Placid, New York. This three-day event features activities such as a skating party, photos with Santa, a free movie screening, and a fun scavenger hunt.

All Weekend

  • Scavenger Hunt

Friday

  • Skating Party in the 1932 Rink at the Olympic Center – 5 pm-6:30pm – FREE and FREE skating rentals
  • Live Music at Generations Tap & Grill – 6pm-9pm
  • Cocktail hours featuring craft cocktails and festive cheer at The Bluebird Hotel Lounge – 6pm and following The Jim Breuer Show! 
  • Ugly Sweater Party at The Cottage – 6-9pm

Saturday

  • Jingle Bell Run at the Mirror Lake Beach House – 8:30am
  • Holiday Card Making at The Lake Placid Public Library – 10am-3pm 
  • Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair at the Adirondack Community Church – 10am-2pm
  • Crafts & Games at the Lake Placid Public Library – 10am-3pm
  • Singing & Storytime at St. Eustace Church – 11am
  • Santa's Arrival at Mid's Park – 12pm
  • Santa Photos at Mid's Park – 12pm-1:30 pm
  • Meet & Greet with Olaf at Little Blue House, plus get a FREE ornament (while supplies last) and complimentary chocolate chip cookies – 11am-4pm
  • Wine Tasting at The Boat Tasting Room – 2-5pm
  • Tree Lighting and Celebration at Mid's Park – 5pm
  • Live Music at the Lake House – 5-8pm

Sunday

  • Free Movie (The Polar Express) at the Palace Theatre – 11am
  • Free cookies and cocoa with Santa at The Mirror Lake Inn – 11:30am-1pm
  • Santa Ski at Whiteface Mountain – 8am-4:30pm – Wear a Santa suit and ski for free!
  • Annual Christmas Concert at Adirondack Community Church – 3pm 
  • Chris Kringle Caravan throughout Lake Placid – 4pm

About Jim: Jim Breuer is an American actor and comedian from New York. He was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998 and starred in the film Half Baked! He has a hit weekly podcast called, The Breuniverse, where he brings people from all walks of life together. Jim’s standup comedy tackles all subjects from marriage and relationships to current events to love and loss (and so much more) all with one goal in mind—to leave people with a little more hope than they arrived!
