Day Camp
The Town of Tupper Lake Recreation Department runs an annual six-week program based out of the elementary school gym. The Tupper Lake Recreation Department, along with a seasonal staff of teenaged camp counselors, lead groups of children 5-12 years old through a calendar of arts enrichment, nature study, outdoor play, and regular field trips to Little Wolf Public Beach, TL Public Library and The Wild Center.
Registration is now open. All campers must be registered by the deadline of June 1st.

- July 1-August 9, 2024
- Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Camp Announcements:
- Due to the growth of this program, the Town of Tupper Lake will no longer accept camper registrations on a rolling basis. All campers must be registered for camp no later than June 1, 2024. The deadline will allow us to plan activities, transportation, and counselor staff accordingly.
- There will be a 3-day minimum weekly attendance requirement. We have found that campers who attend sporadically do not understand our rules and routines, and do not develop meaningful relationships with peers and camp counselors.
- Campers do not have to attend all 6 weeks of camp.
