Hiking to Rainbow Falls
From the trailhead you will hike on a flat course with a slight descent to a field with blackberry bushes lining the sides. Once through the attractive hardwood forest you will come to a narrow wooden footbridge over a brook. This can be very slippery, walk with care. Past here you will quickly come to the top of Rainbow Falls with very steep drop offs. The trail will continue downstream to get you better view of the falls.
Rainbow Falls in the winter
Be prepared for slippery conditions, bring microspikes, and be careful around frozen and rushing water in the winter.
