Solar Eclipse Sensory Immersion Experience at the Paul Smith's College VIC

The Paul Smiths VIC is in the path of totality for this rare full solar eclipse, and the Heron Marsh is a spectacular viewing site! Join experienced guides from Adirondack Riverwalking and Forest Bathing on a sensory immersion experience during this rare celestial experience.

Reclining on a secluded boardwalk facing the open sky to the west, with viewing glasses and a cozy blanket, experience this solar eclipse from a unique vantage point, one that will stay with you for years to come. We'll begin our afternoon by guiding you on a sensory walk through the forest. Using your senses intentionally leads to effortless mindfulness so you can take in all the responses in nature around you throughout the process of the eclipse. As the light begins to dim, headlamps will help guide our way through the forest to our viewing platform. After the eclipse, we will gather by a campfire to share our experience with each other over a cup of wild tea and homemade snacks. We'll have a surprise gift for you, a keepsake of this unique solar eclipse experience.

$125 per person includes headlamp, viewing glasses, warm blanket, water, tea, snacks and a special souvenir gift. Microspikes or snowshoes are also included, if needed.
