Strap On The Snowshoes

You don't have to give up on hiking just because it's winter! Strap on a pair of snowshoes and enjoy the snow covered trails in and around Tupper Lake. Many of the hiking trails make for a great snowshoeing trek. The groomed trails at the Tupper Lake Cross Country Ski Center are snowshoe friendly and offer connectors to Big Tupper Ski Area.

Try It - You'll Like It!

Don't have snowshoes? No worries! Complimentary snowshoes are offered to all Wild Center guests with your paid admission. So after exploring the indoor exhibits, step outside and snowshoe to the glorious Raquette River Oxbow.
