A Natural Science Hub in the Heart of the Adirondacks

Tupper Lake is the home to two unique and inspiring natural science centers: The Wild Center & The Adirondack Public Observatory. These state-of-the-art attractions will have you interacting with the Adirondacks in a whole new dimension. 

Just a short drive...

Located at the crossroads of the Adirondacks, Tupper Lake makes a great basecamp for visiting Adirondack attractions. Within a short drive from Tupper Lake, you will have access a variety of Adirondack destinations. Drive forty minutes south, and you will find the world class Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake. Take a similar drive to the east, and the Olympic sites of Lake Placid await.
