A natural science hub in the heart of the Adirondacks

Tupper Lake is the home to two unique and inspiring natural science centers: The Wild Center and The Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory. These state-of-the-art attractions will have you interacting with the Adirondacks in a whole new way as you learn about the world around — and above — you.

Plenty of indoor adventures

When you're not playing in the great outdoors of Tupper Lake, you'll find some enticing attractions indoors! The Wild Center's indoor exhibits offer thrilling education with Adirondack flair, the otters are always looking for more visitors. Looking for unique handcrafted gifts, or a chair completely crafted out of cross-country skis? Tupper Arts is a delightful art expo right in the center of town! And if you're ready to show off your bowling skills, head over to Lakeview Lanes and spend the day perfecting your strike. Find endless fun both outdoors and indoors when you come to Tupper Lake!

The Tupper Lake area offers activities and attractions for all ages. Whether your family has curious minds or adventurous legs, Tupper Lake has your next family vacation covered. 

  • Bring the littles to the sparkling sand and waters of Little Wolf Beach, a classic Adirondack beach featuring great swimming, volleyball, snacks, basketball courts, and a campground!
  • Hit a home run with the family at a Tupper Lake Riverpigs game! The Riverpigs are our semi-pro team and their lakeside games are always a summer treat.
  • Little Loggers Playground is the perfect spot to play, climb, and even share a picnic. From tree forts to climbing boulders, don't miss it!
  • Summertime means the bandshell at Flanders Park comes alive with music and activity and that's true for kids, too! The annual Little Loggers Kids Shows by Tupper Arts feature everything from music to magic, clowning to interactive theatre.
