Rock Island Bay

Rock Island Bay is one of the last scenic pull offs as you leave Tupper Lake. Known for a great view of the water, it is a great photo opportunity. You can see most of Tupper Lake, and where Bog River Falls flows into the lake. This is a great stargazing location as you are a bit outside of town and there is minimal light pollution.

How to get there - From the intersection of Route 3 and 30 follow Route 30 south out of town. You will pass the state boat launch on your right. From here, Rock Island Bay is 4.3 miles away. You will see pull offs on both the right and left side of the road.
