Winter at The Wild Center

Visiting the Wild Center will look a little different this Winter. Timed reservations must be made prior to your arrival. Reservations can be made on the Wild Center's website.

Although guests will not have access to the indoor otter exhibit, visitors will be allowed to catch a glimpse of the otters in the behind-the-scenes outdoor otter play yard – a spot normally off-limits to visitors. Wild Center naturalists will hold short live animal encounters and drop-in educational programs throughout the day in specific locations around the outdoor campus.

Face coverings are required when visiting the Wild Center. Please maintain 6 feet of distance from other Wild Center guests. You may notice some temporary adjustments in place to help maintain distance and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.  These include: new signage and ground markings to help guests better navigate common areas, as well as physical barriers.

The indoor gift shop and cafe will remain closed. Visitors are encouraged to pack a picnic as limited pre-packaged snacks will be available.

The Wild Center has gone paperless. At this time they are accepting cashless payments. Also, additional sanitizing stations have been added throughout campus. Wild Center staff will be frequently cleaning high traffic areas.

Currently The Wild Center is open Friday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
