The leaves have fall, the air is brisk, and the winter holidays will soon be here! Tupper Arts has been busy planning a variety of winter activities for all ages.

A display you will see at the Fiber Arts Show!

The Fiber Arts Show will be the next exhibit from November 9 through January 2. Visitors will be treated to a textile display including woven, knitted, crocheted, and quilted items. This is the perfect opportunity to start your holiday shopping with some locally made products!

To get everyone in the holiday spirit, Carol Nye will be conducting a class on making your own strip-pieced Christmas stocking on November 16.

Teenagers enjoying the first Friday at the Grotto.

The first "Friday at the Grotto" last month was a huge success. This reoccurring event gives teens an opportunity to spend an evening at Tupper Arts in the newly finished teen space. There is open mic, opportunities to act, tell jokes, or show off any artistic talents they would like. It provides a safe and fun location for teens to spend a Friday night. The next "Friday at the Grotto" will be held on December 6, and continue one Friday a month throughout the winter.

Annual Snow Ball

Every year, Tupper Arts holds their annual Snow Ball. This gala is one of their biggest fundraisers for the year. This year, it will be held Saturday, December 14 at the Wild Center. Join Tupper Arts for this holiday celebration and enjoy live music by Hammerlock, great food, and drinks. Tickets can be purchased at the Tupper Arts Center.

On December 21, Tupper Arts will be hosting a performance of the Messiah at St. Alphonsus Church. After the performance there will be a holiday reception.

Throughout winter, SomaYoga classes will continue to be put on by Johnna Macdougall. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Tupper Arts Center.

More exciting plans for 2020 are in the works including new exhibits, classes, and performances. Check the website regularly for updates on the calendar at tupperarts.org.
