Middle Saranac Lake Sand Beach

From the parking area drop over the embankment to a well-developed trail to start you hike. The trail is dry and mostly flat as it continues over rooty terrain to a gorgeous and long sand beach on Middle Saranac Lake. The water is very shallow and can be waded out on the sandy bottom for a very long distance. 

Trailhead Location: 

From the intersection of Route 3 and Route 30 in the Village of Tupper Lake follow Route 3 toward Saranac Lake. Continue for over 12-miles to the trailhead on the left. The trail is to the back of the parking area.
